As Star Wars - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith prepares to be screened in theaters again On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Hayden Christensen, who plays Darth Vader, makes this promise that will surely delight fans of the Sith Lord.

Indeed, on April 25 and 29, cinemas will offer a screening of Revenge of the Sith to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of the third installment of the prequel. Since Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones, it is Hayden Christensen who plays Anakin Skywalker and who will fall to the side of the Force to become the Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Recently, during the Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo, the actor who plays Darth Vader himself announced that his iconic character in the eyes of fans would indeed return in season 2 of the series Ahsoka. And he won't be the only one making a comeback, as two other cult characters have also been announced. But Hayden Christensen doesn't want to settle for just an appearance in Ahsoka. The actor has clearly expressed his desire to don Darth Vader's armor again and revisit the period after Revenge of the Sith, as he told our American colleagues at ComicBook: There's still a lot to explore with Vader. I think after Episode III, and everything he has to face after being trapped in this new version of himself, there are still a lot of very rich stories to tell.
Hayden Christensen wants to explore even more of Vader's story
Darth Vader's story had been staged in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi which offered 6 episodes whose action takes place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Then the Marvel Darth Vader comics fill in the gaps between the fourth and fifth films. Charles Soule's Vader series, published in 2017, tells the story of Darth Vader's hunt for the Jedi shortly after the execution of Order 66 and the fall of the Republic.
It covers a period from -19 to -12, the date of construction of his fortress on Mustafar. There are also two other series dedicated to the Sith Lord published in 2015 and 2020.
Christensen expresses this wish, which Vader fans can take as a promise from the actor:
I love this character and I would love to continue playing him. So I hope we can do more.
Will Disney hear the actor and his eagerness to return as Vader to offer new stories? We hope so!
