According to the latest and very numerous rumors on the subject, the famous The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake should finally be the subject of an official announcement during the month of April, with a release following. This should take place, according to various leakers, no later than next week, which marks the end of the anniversary event for the MMORPG in the universe of the license. This seems to be confirmed once again by the generally well-informed Jeff Grubb.
No more doubt about the imminent release of The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake?
After a flurry of rumors and leaks about the apparently imminent release of The Elder Scrolls 4 Remake, Bethesda and Xbox are maintaining a stubborn silence, apparently in anticipation of a proper announcement very soon. Behind the scenes, however, we have noticed In recent days, changes have been made, notably on the game's Steam page, with the removal of trailers for the original game released in 2006.
This seems to fit with the fact that this famous Remake of The Elder Scrolls 4, apparently under Unreal Engine 5, provided by Virtuos Games (Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake) should arrive very soon. In any case, this is what Jeff Grubb is putting forward again in his latest podcast for Giant Bomb, with the main theme being the increase in the price of the PS5 without a player. " Let's give a little update on Oblivion and its shadowdrop. It should arrive during the week of April 21, so next week. I received a second confirmation that this is what is planned."
All that remains is to monitor the usual communication channels of Xbox and Bethesda over the next week to find out for sure. If the announcement is made to show us what this famous Remake of The Elder Scrolls 4 is like, it should therefore be followed by a release of the game immediately afterward. The question of the targeted platforms may still arise, however. We can in any case count on a launch on PC, Xbox Series and Game Pass. Whether or not the PS5 will be part of the equation remains to be confirmed.
