While we already have a good idea of what's in store for subscribers in May on Xbox Game Pass, with big hits like Anno 1800, the original 2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Dredge, and DOOM The Dark Ages, the rest of the schedule is rather nebulous. That being said, a game that's potentially one to watch on the service, like other platforms, is also getting a July release date. We're dropping our pens to find out what's going on.
A date inscribed the feather for a big game expected Day One on Xbox Game Pass in July
The game that interests us here became known during the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, as part of last summer's Summer Game Fest, and was then announced for sometime in 2025 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and therefore the Xbox Game Pass. It had caught our eye with its artistic direction deeply rooted in Chinese folklore, as well as its atmosphere and souls-like gameplay putting us face to face with terrifying yaoguai, the monsters of the mythology of the Middle Kingdom. As you may have understood, we are talking about Wuchang Fallen Feathers, developed by Leenzee Games and published by 505 Games.
Wuchang Fallen Feathers has recently confirmed its release date, which is set for July 24, 2025. It will be available on PC and consoles, but also Day One on Xbox Game Pass. The official Xbox YouTube channel, which has clearly made it its protégé, announces this in a new trailer that still makes you want it, as you can see below.
In addition to the release date of Wuchang Fallen Feathers, the video details the pre-order bonuses, if by chance this Chinese SoulsBorne that could overshadow Black Myth Wukong interests you. In this case, we are entitled to the following elements:
- Enhanced Night Specter Set (5 pieces)
- Enhanced White Specter Set (5 pieces)
- Vermilion War Axe
- Shining Red Mercury Skill Enhancement Item
Due to its Day One presence on Xbox Game Pass, these bonuses could also be directly integrated into the offer of Microsoft's subscription service. Go to from July 24 to discover it all.
