This is exactly what Aiper promises with its new IrriSense, a connected watering system designed to combine simplicity, precision, and ecology. No more need to multiply installations or waste water on unsuitable areas. With this unique device, the promise is clear: a single IrriSense is enough to cover up to 440 m², while avoiding paths, terraces, or garden decorations!
Intelligent mapping for watering... just what you need
This is the great advantage of the IrriSense: intelligent targeting capability, made possible by a mapping system that can be configured via a dedicated application. Unlike conventional sprinklers, which are often inaccurate, the IrriSense focuses only on areas with grass. Result: not a drop of water on gravel, paving stones, or passersby surprised by an impromptu shower.
Thanks to a nozzle capable of watering from 12 meters away and at a low but constant flow rate, the system allows water to penetrate the soil slowly and efficiently. No more surface watering that trickles instead of nourishing the roots. And because the device pivots intelligently, the entire defined area receives the same amount of water, without duplication or forgetting.
Smart watering based on real-time weather
This is where IrriSense has a serious advantage over traditional solutions: its ability to adapt to weather conditions. Thanks to weather data received via Wi-Fi, watering is automatically suspended if rain is forecast. But the device doesn't just rely on forecasts: a built-in sensor detects rain in real time and immediately stops watering if necessary.
Another welcome tip: in times of drought, the system automatically adjusts watering schedules while respecting any local restrictions. And if the water pressure becomes insufficient, an alert is sent to the app.
Furthermore, Aiper has focused on ease of installation: four helical tarots to plant, a connection to the standard garden hose, a power outlet, and that's it. Installation takes about fifteen minutes at most. Weighing 4.8 kilos, the device is easy to move and can be stored in the winter.
In terms of connectivity, the IrriSense can operate via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The application allows you to define the zones to be watered, the time slots, but also to let the system decide for you based on the weather, as explained above. And for the most demanding users, remote control remains possible at any time, even on the other side of the world.
A premium price
Available at 649 euros, the IrriSense is clearly positioned as a high-end product. But faced with the accumulation of sprinklers, programmers, weather sensors, and other accessories that must be purchased separately, the investment can prove profitable in the long run. Especially since the device is waterproof (IPX66), UV-resistant, and designed to last several seasons without flinching. With this product, Aiper confirms its desire to establish itself in the field of connected gardening, already marked by its pool cleaning robots.
It remains to be seen how it will behave in more complex conditions or on large properties. But on paper, the IrriSense already ticks many boxes to become one of the smartest watering systems on the market.
