Paying by phone is getting complicated, but it's for your security
Google has decided to strengthen the security of its payment app. Indeed, after 3 minutes of inactivity, Google Wallet locks itself, including the home screen, making it impossible to view saved cards without re-authentication. This change, rolled out with version 25.18, affects Android tablets and smartphones, as well as Wear OS smartwatches like the Galaxy Watch 7 and Pixel Watch 3. This may seem less practical in everyday use, but Google wants to offer its users better protection of sensitive data.

Gemini Live arrives on Android and iPhone
After several months of testing, Google is launching Gemini Live, an artificial intelligence capable of interacting naturally with users while taking into account what is displayed on the screen or what is filmed by the smartphone camera. Available now on Android and iOS, the AI can answer questions about what you are watching, correct your mistakes, and guide you in real time. Enough to transform your phone even more into a true intelligent assistant.

Android 16: Pixels benefit from a smoother interface and a better home screen arranged
The first beta of Android 16 QPR1 is now available and it introduces welcome visual changes for the Pixel. The interface becomes more fluid, the menus are more readable, and above all, the “At a glance” widget is finally reduced to free up space on the home screen. This change improves the organization and customization of your smartphone, while preparing for the arrival of future lock screen widgets expected for fall 2025.

SFR soon to be sold? Customers can rest easy for now
As we told you last week, the sale of SFR is taking shape, with two major players in the race: Free (Iliad) and Bouygues Telecom. But they aren't the only interested buyers: Orange SA, funds like Ardian and KKR, and even the operator e& are also entering negotiations. While some are talking about a breakup, subscribers have nothing to worry about for now; no immediate changes are planned to their offers or services.

The design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 has been leaked
The full design of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 has leaked via CAD files obtained by SamMobile. The site reveals a detailed look at the upcoming smartphones. While the Z Fold 7 is said to be thinner than ever, with reduced bezels and a sleeker silhouette, the Z Flip 7 is said to remain close to its predecessor, the Z Flip 6. Samsung continues to refine its foldable range and is expected to unveil the two new models in early July.

RTX 5060: a good graphics card for less than €1,000
Nvidia succeeds with the GeForce RTX 5060: 20% more performance, minimal consumption of 6 at 145W, and still DLSS 4. Despite its 8GB of VRAM limiting it to 1440p with ray tracing, it stands out as an excellent choice for those on a budget looking for a versatile card that's effective in both gaming and video production.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra: an elegant and powerful folding smartphone
During our review, the Razr 60 Ultra won us over with its sleek design, especially the wood version, its beautiful external screen, its solid battery life, and its overall performance. The colorimetry of the internal screen has been improved, the photo sensor is well-made, and we love the new customizable button. However, we regret the lack of optical zoom, the heat generated during intensive use, and the increased price. Be careful, you'll only be entitled to 3 years of Android updates.

Honor 400: a balanced but lackluster smartphone
The Honor 400 ticks a lot of boxes: neat design, beautiful screen, practical interface rich in smart features, fast charging and 6 years of updates. That being said, in wanting to get back under the 500 euro mark, Honor was forced to make some concessions. Performance is modest, battery life is average and the equalizer is incompatible with the speakers. The Honor 400 lacks that little something extra that would make the difference against strong competition in this price segment.

Galaxy S25 Edge: a neat design but significant flaws
With the S25 Edge, Samsung is focusing heavily on design: ultra-thin, light, elegant, the device is a real eye-catcher. The screen is superb, the performance is impressive, but the flaws are too numerous: heating is poorly managed, the battery life is disappointing, the audio part is poor, and the photos often handle contrast poorly. An elegant and ultra-thin smartphone, certainly, but a price that is too high for so many concessions on the technical sheet.
