What changes here is the integration of the full power of Gemini AI. Concretely, you will be able to talk to your glasses about what you see. With the onboard camera, they “see” the same thing as you. Just like Gemini Live, which analyzes what is displayed or filmed by your smartphone screen, the Android XR glasses allow you to ask questions or naturally formulate queries about your surroundings.

As an example, the user asked Gemini who the band was that was visible in photos in front of her. Once they had their name, they asked for a photo of one of their performances on the stage where they were. The AI then took the initiative to play a song by the band, all in what was ultimately a fluid conversation.
