The road has been as long as it has been winding for Assassin's Creed Shadows, but the results speak for themselves today. Present since its release in the top game sales every week – at least in France – the title seems to have indeed succeeded in finding its audience. For Ubisoft, the time has now come to focus on its roadmap for Year 1, which will introduce many new features to the adventures of Naoe and Yasuke. Starting with a rather unexpected collaboration.
Assassin's Creed Shadows x Dead by Daylight
Indeed, it had been announced by the studio two weeks ago, Assassin's Creed Shadows will be the subject of several collaborations in the coming months. However, no specific details had been revealed at that time. At least that was the case until yesterday, when a first teaser appeared on the franchise's official networks. And for its first collaboration, the title will focus on the Dead by Daylight universe. We warned you, it's quite unexpected.
"Enter the fog. A new Dead by Daylight quest begins. Sneak through the shadows. Survive the test"can be read as a teaser. And to accompany this mysterious message, a short video is also available. Inspired by the home menu of the Behaviour Interactive game, it shows a man standing in the foreground, observing the two protagonists of Assassin's Creed Shadows in the distance. This looks rather interesting, then.
A collaboration that's still very mysterious
Unfortunately, that's all we'll have to settle for for now. Because with the exception of what appears to be a launch date, set for May 27th, this crossover with Dead by Daylight is currently playing the mystery card. Even if, judging by the published message, we can clearly expect to be entitled to a new quest, probably accompanied by a series of associated rewards. Answer in a little less than two weeks.
