Having become a benchmark in automotive simulation in just two episodes, the Assetto Corsa license made its big comeback at the start of 2025. On January 16, Kunos Simulazioni launched the third episode of its franchise, Assetto Corsa EVO, in early access on Steam. And early access obviously means new content to come. Content that was teased in a new trailer at Gamescom Latam in Brazil.
Assetto Corsa EVO reveals its future content
Packed with new gameplay sequences, this one revs the engines to highlight a multitude of vehicles to come in the next updates. And unsurprisingly, it was certainly the presence of a magnificent McMurtry Speirling that particularly resonated with fans. But this trailer also has a lot more under the hood. New circuits, images of the open world, and even an F1 vehicle are also part of the game. Enough to make you want to put your gloves back on and get back to burning rubber on the asphalt.
The Brazilian show was also an opportunity for the studio to thank the fans. "Assetto Corsa EVO has exceeded our wildest expectations thanks to your unwavering support and the passion you have shown" can be read under the trailer. Because despite the bugs and optimization issues noted since the launch of early access, it seems that this new installment has no trouble finding its audience. And there's no doubt that things will get even better once the final version is finally available.
Still no date for the final version
And when is it planned, exactly? At the time of writing, the information has still not been revealed by the studio. However, if we rely on the information shared on Steam, it should possibly be released before the end of the year. It's time for Kunos Simulazioni to prepare new content, gather feedback from its community, and finally refine its copy to offer the most successful experience possible.
