Cherished by fans of the genre, the video game has managed to reach far beyond the target audience of Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Octopath Traveler and other Ni no Kuni, thanks to its unique poetry and atmosphere. On January 30, 2025, Variety informed us that a live-action film adaptation produced by Story Kitchen (Sonic the Hedgehog) was in development. During their appearance on the show Les Termes, broadcast on the Bazar du Grenier channel, Guillaume Broche and Alan Reynaud - respectively creative director and lead character artist of the Sandfall Interactive studio - addressed these rumors.
