After the cancellation of C8 following the Arcom decision, Cyril Hanouna is expected to return to the M6 group in the fall. While there was a time when the host left doubts about a possible candidacy in the 2027 presidential election, this is no longer the case. Before returning to the small screen, the host/producer is embarking on a new project.
Before M6, Cyril Hanouna is embarking on a new field
Since the end of February, even though he had hosted a few episodes of Touche Pas à Mon Poste broadcast on Internet boxes and YouTube, Cyril Hanouna is no longer on TV until the start of the next school year. The former C8 star is expected to join the M6 group, where he will have a show every afternoon on Fun Radio and a daily slot on W9, but he will have to respect management's instructions: not to talk about politics. In the meantime, he still officiates on Europe 1 with his show On Marche Sur La Tête. It was on this channel that Hanouna revealed that the officialization of his candidacy for the 2027 presidential election announced in the columns of Valeurs Actuelles, was in reality a hoax.
While he does not aspire to the Élysée (even if behind the scenes it is rumored that this fake candidacy was a way to test public opinion), Cyril Hanouna has decided to launch himself into a different field: that of communications. Indeed, with his notoriety and knowledge of social networks, he founded a communications agency, Chapchak, which is the acronym of the initials of its founders, namely Cyril Hanouna, Aline Poulain and Karl Astié, political advisors.
Advising politicians, athletes and businesses
The agency's objective is to offer various services ranging from media training to content creation for CAC40 companies, athletes and political figures.
Chapchak offers responsiveness and a "capacity for malleability and mobility very important" as the host emphasizes. Cyril Hanouna wants to support politicians who use social media without necessarily knowing how to use it. More and more of them are using these channels because many French people get their information this way.
The Chapchak agency will open in September 2025, but it is already working with its first clients. Cyril Hanouna has stated that he will work with all political leanings. Could this communications agency ultimately be a gateway into politics for the host? Time will tell.
