One of the most anticipated games of the year is coming soon to our consoles. It's Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the sequel to the adventures of Sam Bridges, developed by Hideo Kojima's studio. As it arrives on June 26 on PS5, Kojima Productions has announced that it is organizing a world tour to meet fans of the saga around the world.
It's official, among the 12 planned stops, one date has particularly caught our attention. Indeed, on June 28 Hideo Kojima and his team will stop in Paris. News that resonates strongly in the hearts of fans of the franchise but also of the video game creator that we have known since his beginnings with Metal Gear Solid. For long-time fans, the arrival of Kojima Productions in France is much more than a simple promotional stop.
Little information for the moment
Paris therefore becomes, for the space of a day, a point of convergence for porters from all walks of life. Although little information has been released about the exact content of this tour, previous Kojima events suggest the arrival of special guests, exclusive screenings, and meetings with the game's creators.
In addition to Paris, Hideo Kojima plans to stop in Los Angeles, Sydney, Seoul, Hong Kong, and Sao Paulo. French players who would like to double their chances of participating in the event can go to London on June 30th since Kojima Productions will also be there right after Paris.
One more month to wait
On the game side, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach promises an even darker, more introspective and ambitious adventure, according to what we see in the trailers. We find our dear Norman Reedus in the role of Sam Porter Bridges, accompanied by Léa Seydoux, Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna and Troy Baker. This time, the story takes us beyond the borders of the UCA (United Cities of America), where new threats, both physical and metaphysical, challenge the very foundations of human connection. Once again, the game promises to be a unique proposition in the current video game landscape.
