DOOM The Dark Ages: Free content already available, but on one condition

Released this May 15, 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, DOOM The Dark Ages is positioned as a prequel to the 2016 reboot and Eternal, with a medieval dark fantasy twist. While there is currently only the campaign to play as the Slayer, he and his mech, his draconic mount, and his weapons have unlockable appearances. This is precisely the purpose of the free content that interests us here, offered by NVIDIA. Which unfortunately implies a fairly targeted audience.

A free NVIDIA-themed Slayer skin for DOOM The Dark Ages

Despite a somewhat lackluster campaign, as well as the mech and dragon phases, DOOM The Dark Ages puts us in control of a Slayer more brutal than ever, with gameplay that's both "old school" and brutal thanks to the addition of a very versatile shield and melee weapons. We therefore slaughter hordes of demons with great pleasure in the medieval armor of DOOM Guy.

It is also possible to customize it, in this case with a free skin offered by NVIDIA. This one adorns the Slayer of DOOM The Dark Ages with black armor, with a few touches of the chameleon brand's green. Unfortunately, this only applies to the PC version of the game, especially on a machine equipped with an NVIDIA graphics card. If you check all these boxes, here's how to claim this free skin:

• Create an NVIDIA account
• If you've already created an account, go here and make sure you're enrolled in the GeForce Rewards program.
• Download and install the NVIDIA app if you haven't already.
• Open the NVIDIA app on a desktop or laptop PC with a GeForce GTX 10-series graphics card (or newer).
• Then log in to your NVIDIA account via the button in the top right corner of the NVIDIA application window.
• Click the "Redeem" section in the left menu.
• Select the GeForce DOOM The Dark Ages reward.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.
• Go to Bethesda.net and log in using the button in the top right corner of the screen. Create an account if you don't already have one.
• Once logged in, click on your profile in the top right corner of Bethesda.net, then click "Redeem Code."
• Enter and redeem the code received in the NVIDIA app.
• Launch DOOM The Dark Ages and log in with your Bethesda.net credentials.
• The NVIDIA Special Slayer skin will be available and ready to use.
