Dragon Ball Daima: A new feature is coming to players

Dragon Ball Daima: A new feature is coming to players

At Bandai Namco, we don't take game updates lightly. Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero may be released at the end of 2024, but that doesn't mean we can forget about all the games that came before it. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, which was released in 2020, can attest to this, as it will be receiving a major expansion packed with content starting in July. And the fact is that it's not the only one, as Xenoverse 2, which was released even before that, will also be receiving new content starting tomorrow.

A new pack for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Arriving on PS4, Xbox One, and PC at the end of 2016, the fighting game developed by Dimps continues to withstand the ravages of time by welcoming ever more new features. The next ones? Those of the "DAIMA Pack" expansion, which will introduce two new characters from May 22nd, along with several quests, skills, costumes, and other additional bonuses. Here is the complete breakdown of the upcoming content for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2:

  • Playable Characters
    • Super Saiyan 4 Goku (DAIMA)
    • Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta (DAIMA)
  • New additional Dragon Ball content
    • 3 Parallel Quests
    • 6 Skills
    • 8 Costumes and Accessories
    • 2 Super Souls
    • 8 Loading Screen Illustrations

This should give fans good reasons to come back between two games of Sparking! Zero and Kakarot. Especially considering that this makes Xenoverse 2 the first game to feature Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta. This is despite the Dragon Ball DAIMA anime's numerous appearances in the franchise's various titles to date, such as Sparking! Zero or DB Legends for example.

No price announced

However, let's clarify that the studio has not given any information regarding the price of this new expansion. Will it be free or will you have to spend a few euros to enjoy it? That will be the surprise to discover tomorrow. As a reminder, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is now available on PS5 and Xbox Series, as well as on Nintendo Switch.
