Ghost of Yotei: Collector's Edition Available, But Hurry!

The highly anticipated Ghost of Yotei, the next big PS5 exclusive, is revealing itself a little more with the opening of pre-orders for its various editions. And as is often the case with PlayStation, the collector's edition is already making waves. You'll have to act quickly to avoid missing anything. Here's where you can get your hands on it at the best price.

A beautiful collector's edition for Ghost of Yotei

Available only on the PlayStation Direct store, the Ghost of Yotei collector's edition is priced at €249.99, with debit upon shipment. Inside the box, fans will find:

  • A replica of the Ghost of Atsu mask, the main character
  • A fabric belt adorned with the names of the Six of Yōtei
  • A tsuba (katana guard) on its display stand
  • A zeni-hajiki kit, a small game of skill from the game's universe
  • A papercraft ginkgo with a wolf at its feet
  • A set of illustrated cards
  • And of course, the game... in digital version only.

In other words, no disc, no steelbook, and once again, a collector's item that is a bit of a debate among physics enthusiasts. On the other hand, it's still a very nice edition and you'll have to act quickly to avoid missing out.

The PS5 standard edition in stores... with the game in a box!

Fortunately, for those who want to own the game in physical version, several retailers offer the standard edition at the recommended price of €79.99. It contains:

  • The Ghost of Yotei game in physical version
  • A standard box

Currently, the best deal seems to be at Micromania, which offers a €10 voucher for any pre-order (immediate debit). Other non-bonus options:

As a reminder, the game takes place on the island of Ezo, in a Japan inspired by 19th-century Hokkaido. It follows Atsu, a warrior who returns to the land of her childhood to hunt down those responsible for the massacre of her family, sixteen years earlier. While the story begins with blood and vengeance, it evolves into a more nuanced narrative later on.
