Gran Turismo 7 Gets a Big Update with Free Content Available

Nothing can disrupt Gran Turismo 7, which has been hitting its stride for a while now, with free monthly updates. These patches aren't focused on fixing problems, but rather on adding content to maintain long-term interest. To keep players coming back regularly, Polyphony Digital always makes sure to have new cars, menus, destinations for the Scapes photo mode, and to upgrade its GT Sophy AI.

Gran Turismo 7 May 2025 Update Available on PS5 and PS4

Due to a PlayStation error, virtual drivers in Gran Turismo 7 discovered all the free cars in update 1.59 ahead of time. A few days after this leak, the Japanese manufacturer officially spoke out and even deployed this new patch on PS5 and PS4. If you've read our article, there are absolutely no surprises regarding the vehicles that will be joining your GT7 garage. Here are the 4 new free cars available with update 1.59:

  • Ferrari 812 Superfast ’17
  • Chevrolet Corvette Z06 ’01
  • Suzuki Carry KC ’12
  • Honda CR-V e:HEV EX Black Edition ’21

As usual, Gran Turismo 7 is generous because in addition to these free cars, new events have been added to the world circuits with this update 1.59.

  • Lightweight K-Cup: Eiger Nordwand
  • American Clubman Cup 700: Autódromo de Interlagos
  • Ferrari Circuit Challenge: Deep Forest Raceway

GT7 Patch 1.59 Free New Features

In addition to the four cars in update 1.59 From Gran Turismo 7, and events on world circuits, other free content is available. For starters, the Sophy AI is joining the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix track. "The next-generation racing AI, "Gran Turismo Sophy," is now available on the tracks below. Head to the tracks with the Sophy icon in "Quick Race" and "Custom Race" to test your skills against Sophy."

If you like taking photos of your Gran Turismo 7 cars from every angle, there's also something new for the ultra-realistic Scapes mode. Head to Japan to the city of Saitama and more precisely to the Kadokawa Culture Museum. You'll be able to display your most prestigious cars in front of a series of steps.
