Hogwarts Legacy: A First Nintendo Switch 2 Comparison, It's Impressive

Hogwarts Legacy: A First Nintendo Switch 2 Comparison, It's Impressive

While Warner Bros.'s latest results are unfortunately far from stellar, due in particular to the failure of several titles like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the American company does not intend to give up. With the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2 approaching, it is time for it to relaunch the communication machine around Hogwarts Legacy, whose success is no longer in doubt. The opportunity to finally discover the significant improvements made to the Switch version.

Hogwarts Legacy's improvements on Switch 2 illustrated

Indeed, a new trailer published on the game's official channel allows us to report, with supporting comparisons, on all the work carried out by Avalanche Software. And we can say it: they seem to have done things well. In addition to significantly improved graphics, we can see that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Hogwarts Legacy will benefit from a better draw distance, reworked colorimetry and, above all, more visually rich environments. This is particularly evident in the vegetation or the number of NPCs present on the screen.

Even more interesting, we can see all the work done on optimizing the game, which seems to definitively say goodbye to impromptu loading times. Because unlike other versions, the Switch version of the game did indeed introduce some loading times between two locations, such as when entering Hogsmeade for example. But thanks to the power gain brought by Nintendo's new console, this is now a thing of the past. Enough to bring the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Hogwarts Legacy a little closer to its counterparts.
