Attention Batman fans and LEGO enthusiasts: a brand new Batmobile is coming this summer, and it's definitely not going unnoticed. Inspired by the Batman Forever movie, this collector's version promises to please both builders and collectors.
A LEGO model faithful to the cult 90s movie
At 41 centimeters long and 909 pieces, this Batmobile is impressive. LEGO has paid attention to the details: an opening cockpit, molded windshield, moving wheels, stylized decorations... We immediately recognize the exuberant design of the Batmobile seen in the 1995 film. Better still, the set includes an exclusive Batman minifigure, placed on a small display base. A descriptive plaque also accompanies the vehicle, just to give it a little museum-like feel.
Even if some will surely want to drive it, the Batmobile was clearly designed to sit proudly on a shelf. And for those who like to follow the steps digitally, no worries: the set is compatible with the LEGO Builder app, which allows you to zoom in, rotate the model in 3D and follow its progress.
The release date is set for August 1, 2025, but pre-orders are already open on the official LEGO store. Announced price: €99.99. As is often the case with DC-licensed models, stocks could go quickly. As a reminder, released in 1995, Batman Forever marks a more colorful and extravagant turn in the saga, after Tim Burton's two dark films. Directed by Joel Schumacher, it stars Val Kilmer as the Dark Knight, alongside Chris O'Donnell's Robin. Together, they face off against the high-octane duo of the Riddler (Jim Carrey) and Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones). Clearly a change of atmosphere with those of Burton... This is felt on the LEGO set.
