The latest film from Michael Bay dates back to 2022 with the enjoyable Ambulance. Currently, the American filmmaker is working on several parallel projects. His next feature film is expected to be Robopocalypse, a science fiction film based on the manuscript by Daniel H. Wilson. However, the director is also working as a producer on a mysterious adaptation of Skibidi Toilet.
Skibidi Toilet is an absurd and viral animated series broadcast on YouTube by Georgian animator Alexey Gerasimov, known under the pseudonym DaFuq!?Boom!. Launched in 2023, this totally WTF series was produced using Source Filmmaker software and features a delirious universe where anthropomorphic toilets face off against humanoids with heads made of electronic devices.
Skibidi Toilet features particularly disturbing creatures, which take the form of toilets with human heads emerging from the bowl. The series focuses on a chaotic confrontation between the Skibidi toilets and a resistance force known as The Alliance. The latter is composed of humanoid figures with heads of electronic devices, such as CameraHeads, TVHeads, and SpeakerHeads.
Former Paramount Pictures president Adam Goodman and Michael Bay are in talks with Alexey Gerasimov, the creator of Skibidi Toilet, regarding possible adaptations of his web series. Goodman has indicated that the film adaptation could potentially combine live-action and animation elements. The producer even went so far as to compare this Skibidi Toilet project to franchises like District 9 and John Wick.
Despite its "unconventional" animation style and offbeat humor, Skibidi Toilet has made a big splash, especially with the new generation. The series has gone viral, and the remix of Dm Dom Oui Oui is a true anthem.

Michael Bay took to his Instagram account to share a strange video about the Skibidi Toilet project. He uploaded a short AI-generated video featuring an apocalyptic New York setting. He accompanied his post with a short caption:

Without revealing the nature of this famous clue. It's not yet known whether Michael Bay will serve as director of the project or whether he'll just be a producer. Skibidi Toilet does not yet have a release date set.
