With the Ninja Crispi, the American brand intends to go even further. Its goal? To offer an ultra-compact, all-in-one cooking appliance, designed for both small spaces and on-the-go meals. A bet that focuses as much on practicality as on innovation.
A mini format, a maxi ambition
At first glance, the Ninja Crispi surprises with its small size (30x25x30cm for 6.8kg). The device is designed around a removable motor unit, the "PowerPod," which attaches to glass containers to transform the whole thing into an air fryer, pocket oven, or ultra-efficient warmer. The result: a modular system capable of cooking, preserving, reheating, and serving... all in a single container. This is a far cry from the bulky multicooker found in family kitchens, as everything here is designed for studio kitchens, small offices, or even converted vans.
A real Air Fryer under the hood
Don't let the size fool you. The Ninja Crispi delivers 1700 watts of power (up to 185°), enough to compete with standard-sized models. It offers four main functions: airfry, roast, recrisp, and keep warm. The latter, which is particularly effective, allows you to resuscitate day-old fries or a pizza from the fridge without making them soggy or rubbery, a real advantage over a conventional microwave.
Another welcome innovation: the containers provided (x2) are made of borosilicate glass, resistant to thermal shock. In short, they can be moved from the freezer to the air fryer without any worries. And since they are also microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator compatible, they quickly become indispensable for everyday use. Two sizes are available: a 1.4 L version for smaller appetites, and a 3.8 L version for larger meals. This flexibility allows you to prepare a quick meal for yourself or a dish to share.
A device designed for new lifestyles
In the era of teleworking, micro-housing, and frequent travel, having a compact device that can do everything is a luxury that has become almost necessary. Its sleek design, neutral colors, and small footprint are designed to particularly appeal to young professionals, students, and fans of culinary minimalism. The absence of complicated parts to clean or superfluous buttons reinforces this impression of well-thought-out simplicity.
The Ninja Crispi is not aimed at every home, but it taps into a very real trend: that of intelligent compactness. It does not replace a traditional oven or a multifunction robot, but stands out as an elegant and efficient solution for those who want to cook quickly, well, and without taking up space on their worktop.
The Ninja Crispi will be available in France in September for 179 euros.
