It's confirmed again: Pokemon Scarlet and Purple is far from having said its last word. The game will be getting its optimization on Nintendo Switch 2, to the delight of fans. But, we'll still have to wait until June 5th to see how it looks with the new patch. Until then, players will have plenty of time to wait with the new weekend event. A specimen is waiting for you!
Catch it in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple
Go to the Dark Crystal without delay! Pokemon Scarlet and Purple don't skimp on events, and this one will give you a second chance to catch a specimen with the Overpowered badge. Yes, Metalgross is back for a second round of Teracrystal raids, from Friday, May 16, 2025 to Sunday, May 18, 2025 (11:59 PM deadline).
Like last week, this Metagross will be a Steel Teracrystal type. Introduced at level 100, it will make a strong impression when it joins your team in Pokemon Scarlet and Purple. However, you can only catch it once in your game. However, participating in raids will be a great opportunity to train your Pokémon or simply have a good time taking on the challenge with other players.
How to access the Scarlet and Purple Teracristal raids?
Don't want to miss this great opportunity to catch this Overpowered Metagross? To participate in the Dark Crystal event raids, you must have completed the main story of Pokemon Scarlet and Purple, as well as a few additional missions. If this is not the case, you can still take part by joining other players. Finally, note that your console must be connected to the internet and you must have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Here are the steps to follow:
- From the Main Menu, access the "Poké Portal";
- Go to "Mystery Gifts";
- Select "Receive Portal Updates" and that's it!
Also, don't forget that several in-game gifts are currently waiting for you thanks to Mystery Gift codes. Up for grabs are a Pokémon, skins, and ingredients.
