As a reminder, Amazon Prime subscribers are entitled to a new batch of free games, and not just any games. Until May 28, 2025, two titles well-known to retro fans can be claimed at no additional cost via Prime Gaming. It would be a shame to miss out, there's not much time left.
Prime Gaming will make people happy, but you have to act quickly
The two games offered on Prime Gaming are Sine Mora EX and Thief Gold. Sine Mora EX is a horizontal shoot 'em up that focuses as much on its mechanics as on its atmosphere. Mixing science fiction, a dark universe, and dystopian narration, the game lets you control ships equipped with various weapons in spectacular levels. Its great originality? A time management system: instead of simple life bars, your survival time depends on a timer that must be constantly topped up.
In its EX version, the game is enriched with additional features such as a local co-op mode, new challenges and visual improvements. With its soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka (composer of Silent Hill) and its challenging gameplay, Sine Mora EX will delight fans of arcade action. A good find on Prime Gaming.

Two different genres
Another genre, another era on Prime Gaming. Thief Gold, originally released in 1999, is an expanded version of the cult classic Thief: The Dark Project. This pioneer of stealth games puts you in the shoes of Garrett, a cynical and talented thief who must navigate a gothic and steampunk city. The game emphasizes stealth, patience, and observation, long before the great standards of stealth were established. Not bad, eh, for a game of this age?
The Prime Gaming Gold version includes three additional missions, gameplay adjustments, and technical improvements. Despite its age, Thief remains a monument of the genre, known for its freedom of approach and immersive atmosphere. In fact, it is even considered by many to be a must-have in the history of video games in terms of gameplay. So, just out of curiosity, go for it! Everything can be picked up via GOG.
