Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the sequel to Peter Parker's solo adventures, is eagerly awaited by fans. We'll find Spider-Man in poor form, perhaps even depressed (although we hope not), after the events of No Way Home in 2021. But perhaps the presence of this Avenger in the cast, mentioned by rumors, could give him some life! 4! In July 2026, the friendly New Yorker Spider-Man will return in a new solo adventure, the first details of which can be discovered here. While the cast is gradually being revealed, between returning members and new actors, rumors about possible appearances from other MCU superheroes are flooding in every day. One of them could well prove to be correct in the future, especially since it concerns an Avenger that fans are missing. This is, of course, Hulk, the famous Green Giant played by Mark Ruffalo, whom viewers would like to see return in his raw form rather than "Smart." Not only could (and should) the latter return in Avengers: Doomsday, but his return in Spider-Man 4 would also make sense, if this comic is to be believed. Hulk, a being spared from Doctor Strange's fate? Indeed, in Immortal Hulk: Great Power, a one-shot centered on Spider-Man and Hulk, the Green Giant appears in his most terrifying form, born from his father's abuse. This Hulk personality, locked away by Bruce Banner following the mistreatment of his father, has a link to the Green Door, a gateway between Earth-616 and a kind of of hell, thanks to its gamma radiation. This green door is beyond the scope of Mephisto, Marvel's "Devil," which would explain why spells cast by magicians/sorcerers like the latter or Doctor Strange do not reach him. Indeed, this Hulk would be outside of esotericism and basic human understanding. Certainly, the MCU Hulk does not fit this definition of the character, who took a different path at the end of the Infinity Saga. However, it is not impossible that the writers of Spider-Man 4 will find another way to explain why the Hulk is not affected by Doctor Strange's spell if they wish to include it in the plot of the film!
