Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 is coming very soon!

Once again, Star Trek fans will be able to head back to Paramount+ to discover the new season of Strange New Worlds. The streaming platform has finally revealed the release schedule for the long-awaited sequel. The festivities will begin on Thursday, July 17th with the exceptional broadcast of the first two episodes. The season will then be released weekly, with one episode every Thursday, until September 11th. Season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will therefore consist of 10 episodes in total. And fans can rest assured: the program has already been renewed for a fourth season, so no cancellation is in sight.

A new teaser to accompany the announcement

Now, fans will have to wait a few more weeks, but Paramount+ has everything planned. Unsurprisingly, new clips from season 3 were also shared on this occasion. The trailer, although short, is already enough to dazzle us. The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still led by Captain Pike, is about to experience adventures more thrilling than ever. The teaser doesn't shy away from revealing scenes with increasingly daring art direction, including some passages that are sure to please fans of the franchise's retro aesthetic.

For more details on how the story will unfold in the upcoming episodes, here's what the official synopsis shared by Paramount alongside the trailer promises:

In season three, we find the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise facing the conclusion of season two's harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new lives and civilizations await them, including a villain who will test our characters' courage and resolve. Setting an exciting new tone for the classic STAR TREK, STAR TREK's third season takes characters new and beloved to new heights and plunges them into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery, with varied genres never before seen in any other STAR TREK.”
