After the RedMagic 10 Pro and the RedMagic 10 Air, ZTE's gaming brand is back with a new, ultra-powerful platform: the RedMagic 10S Pro. While it shares many of the same features as the RedMagic 10 Pro, this new smartphone sees a significant improvement in its battery life and its ability to handle the heat of the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It's coming to China. And it'll be coming to Europe soon.
If smartphone gaming is one of your passions, you probably know that options for getting equipped are becoming increasingly rare. Blackshark no longer exists. Lenovo has abandoned the segment. Asus is still developing the ROG Phone. But the latest iteration of this series, the ROG Phone 9 Pro, shows that gamers are no longer its only priority. There is ultimately only one brand left committed to this particularly demanding segment: RedMagic from Chinese giant ZTE.

We saw this commitment at the end of 2023 with the very good RedMagic 9 Pro. We confirmed it again just a few weeks ago with the RedMagic 10 Air, a mid-range smartphone with a very attractive price-performance ratio. Between these two phones, several iterations were presented: the RedMagic 9s Pro and the Redmagic 10 Pro. A Pro range that never compromises on the gaming experience. And this is confirmed again today.
The RedMagic 10s Pro and its giant battery are official!
Indeed, the Chinese brand is today presenting the RedMagic 10s Pro, the "optimized" version of the RedMagic 10 Pro released 6 months ago. What does "optimized" mean? There are simply a few improvements that have been made. The most important concerns the battery. The capacity of the latter increases from 6500 mAh in China (or 7050 mAh in Europe) to 7500 mAh. In addition, fast charging increases to 120 watts maximum, compared to 100 watts previously (or even 80 watts in China). RedMagic promises a full charge in 35 minutes.
Another less obvious improvement: the RAM goes from LPDDR5X format to LPDDR5T, the latest generation of low-power RAM. It runs faster while consuming less energy. Finally, the liquid cooling system has been improved to make performance higher and more stable. For the rest, the technical sheet remains similar. Here are the highlights:
- 6.85-inch 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display
- Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with RedCore R3 Pro processor
- Up to 24GB of RAM (LPDDR5T) and up to 1TB of storage (UFS 4.1)
- 7500mAh battery with 120-watt fast charging support
- 50MP main sensor, f/1.0 aperture lens, optical stabilization and autofocus
- 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, f/2.2 aperture lens
- 16MP selfie sensor, f/2.2 aperture lens, placed under the screen
- WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.5 and USB 3.2 Gen 2
- Android 15
- Stereo speaker compatible with DTS:X Ultra
- 520 Hz capacitive button, colored LED on the back, integrated fan
The smartphone is launched in China today with eight different configurations. Prices start at 5,000 yuan, or around 610 euros. It will arrive in Europe next week, on June 5, 2025 to be precise. This is an opportunity to discover the price of the RedMagic 10s Pro in its international version. Note, however, that its predecessor, the RedMagic 10 Pro, was launched at 650 euros. The first configuration of the RedMagic 10S Pro should, in our opinion, be offered around 700 euros. And stay tuned for our tests, since this smartphone will be put through the wringer of our benchmarks in June!
