The Sims 4 Gets a New Update, Here's Everything That's Changing

While the competition is still struggling to fully convince, The Sims 4 still has a bright future ahead of it. Maxis and Electronic Arts are working to ensure the game continues to offer new content and improve. A new free update is available. You'll see, it fixes major issues and, above all, really optimizes the experience.

The Sims 4 gains in performance with the update

It's going to feel good! The new free patch for The Sims 4 has been designed to improve your gaming experience. It offers the game a welcome performance boost. In particular, loading times have been reduced by up to 10%. Starting your game, changing locations, or even changing your family's outfit should now be faster. Along the same lines, the display speed now climbs to 22 frames per second on laptops.

Overall, the update released yesterday fixes several bugs in The Sims 4. This concerns, among other things, display issues with certain objects specific to kits and loadouts. Maxis and Electronic Arts also tend to offer better stability.

In short, this update explicitly prepares the game for the next Sims 4 event. Electronic Arts reminds us, "Call of the Wild" will begin on June 24. However, it should be noted that while PC and Mac players are upgrading to version 1.115.216.1030 and 1.115.216.1230 respectively, it will take a little longer for version 2.13 to be deployed on console.
