Released this Wednesday, April 30th in French theaters, Thunderbolts* is a resounding success. Sometimes it's the most unexpected Marvel projects that resonate with fans the most, and the film's positive reviews prove it. It is Jake Schreier (Robot and Frank) who is mustThunderbolts*, the latest installment in the MCU, but the 43-year-old American director did not direct the entire feature film. A new report from CBR on the behind-the-scenes of the Marvel film indicates that it was the Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony, who directed one of the two post-credits scenes - not to be missed. We learn in the Watchtower of ValentinaAllegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), who bought the Avengers Tower following Tony Stark's sacrifice, that the Thunderbolts want to call themselves the New Avengers. A statement that doesn't please Sam Wilson, who claims the rights to this name. At the same time, an unexpected ship enters the atmosphere, validating a theory about the Fantastic Four...

In the past, the Russo brothers directed the post-credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it was a scene from Captain America: Civil War. Conversely, the post-credits scene for the second Captain America film was shot by Joss Whedon, and appears in Avengers: Age of Ultron. So there's a good chance that the scene of the arrival of the 4F ship at the end of Thunderbolts* is a scene taken from Avengers: Doomsday, and that it teases the (complicated) alliance between the Avengers and the New Avengers.
