The Migrer vers iOS app, available on the Play Store, is one of Apple's strategic tools to encourage Android users to join its ecosystem. And it has just received an update that significantly improves the experience. One of the main changes concerns the data transfer speed when the two devices are connected by cable.
Accelerated and more reliable wired transfers
USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to Lightning cables now allow faster data transfer between an Android smartphone and an iPhone. Although Apple doesn't provide specific figures, the fact that this improvement is highlighted in the release notes suggests a significant gain. This is not insignificant: many users have previously complained of slowness, or even transfer failures, due to processes that take too long.

And to better familiarize yourself with the iOS environment during the process, "tips" now appear on the screen, guiding the user step by step. This is Apple's way of making it easier to get started from the first few minutes of use. Finally, the update is open to more Indian speakers with the addition of ten new languages, including Tamil, Urdu, and Marathi. A logical extension, given that Apple is looking to strengthen its presence in the subcontinent.
With this update, Apple continues to address one of the major pain points for new users: the fear of losing their data or spending too much time reinstalling everything. By making the process faster, richer, and more accessible, the brand hopes to increase the number of Android switchers.
