The first trailer for Zootopia 2 is released this Tuesday, May 20, 2025. This year's highly anticipated film, Zootopia 2 offers new adventures for Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, while also introducing a mysterious reptile. After several posters and a few announcements, Disney had warned us: today is the day the first trailer for Zootopia 2 is released. It's now a done deal, discover it a little further down.

"Police officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde must follow the winding trail of a mysterious reptile that arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To solve the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover in unknown parts of the city. This mission will test their personal and professional relationship like never before." tells us the synopsis of Zootopia 2.
In addition to the posters, Disney also presented new official images at CinemaCon, in which Judy and Nick are sent to therapy. The duo must relieve the excess stress accumulated after their numerous investigations. But surprise, a new character comes along to sow discord: Gary. This snake, voiced in the original version by Ke Huy Quan, will cause them trouble. It remains to be seen how much.
Expected for November 26, Zootopia 2 is co-directed by the original film's duo, Jared Bush and Byron Howard. Bush is also in charge of the screenplay, while Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman reprise their roles as Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Shakira is also back as Gazelle, while Fortune Feimster will play the new character of Nibbles, and Quinta Brunson will play Dr. Fuzzby.

And on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Disney released the first trailer for Zootopia 2. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are indeed back, as are many of the colorful characters from the first Zootopia.
