Cobra anime is coming back soon

Cobra anime is coming back soon

Created in 1978 by Buichi Terasawa, Cobra is a manga that takes place in a futuristic universe. The title features a man named Johnson during an artificial dream session. Upon regaining his memory, he realizes that he is in fact the famous (presumed dead) space adventurer named Cobra. This space bandit has the particularity of being equipped with a "Delta ray" (or Psychogun), a weapon that he is the only one to possess in place of his left arm.

In 1982, the manga was adapted into an animated series through a single season of 31 episodes. 28 years later, in 2010, a second animated series, Cobra: The Animation, once again brought the space adventurer to the forefront. In the coming months, fans will be treated to the third adaptation of Cobra.

Cobra: the return in animated form confirmed

Cobra anime is coming back soon

It was during the Annecy Animation Film Festival which took place from June 8 to 14 that the production company Mangouste Anim has confirmed the return of the animated series Cobra: For the moment, unfortunately, we'll have to make do with this, as we haven't been given any further information, other than this first visual (above). This new animated series will therefore be the third season, although we don't yet know whether the events will be canonical or not. To date, the animated series Cobra has two seasons, totaling 44 episodes. A possible release window has not yet been announced. We should learn a little more in the coming weeks or months.
