Wonder Woman soon to return?
She will be back!Wonder Woman, the Amazon, is one of the most iconic figures in the DC Comics superhero landscape. Adored by readers and viewers worldwide, Diana Prince has been famously portrayed by two women renowned for their beauty. First came Lynda Carter, a Miss World contestant in the 1970s, and then Gal Gadot, a Miss Universe contestant in the 2000s. The bar has been set high for the future successor to these magnificent actresses, whose identity we should soon learn. Indeed, James Gunn has announced a new Wonder Woman film, taking another step towards Justice League!
Wonder Woman, a series AND a film planned
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, James Gunn revealed that a Wonder Woman reboot is currently in development.
Wonder Woman is a separate project [from the Paradise Lost series already announced by HBO/Max, which] is moving slowly, but moving forward. We're working on Wonder Woman. The script is currently being written.
The co-head of DC Studios also confirmed that the new Diana Prince actress has not yet been chosen. Now that the film has officially been confirmed by Warner Bros., there's no doubt that the first rumors about the next Wonder Woman will soon appear on social media. And why not one of these MCU actors, who would be perfect for James Gunn's DCU?
