Work on World of Frozen is progressing well at Disneyland Paris

Slowly but surely, the area dedicated to Frozen in the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, which will soon be renamed Disney Adventure World, is moving forward. Work continues on the World of Frozen land, where visitors will have the opportunity to meet Anna and Elsa and discover Nordic culinary specialties, but above all, to ride a new attraction called Frozen Ever After, which recaps the events of the first film. On June 20, 2025, the Disneyland Paris team performed a tradition that the American company has respected since the inauguration of It's A Small World in 1966 at Disneyland in California. This is the water-filling ceremony. For the occasion, Imagineers did not deviate from tradition for the water feature of Frozen Ever After. This attraction is in fact a reproduction of an attraction already present in other Disney parks around the world. It has existed in Florida since 2016, in Hong Kong since 2023, and at Tokyo Disney Sea with improvements made compared to the original version.

For the inauguration of It's A Small World, Walt Disney invited several representatives from different countries to pour water from rivers and oceans around the world into the attraction's canal.

Here, the Imagineers did the same thing by pouring water from attractions in Florida, Hong Kong, and Tokyo into the Frozen attraction, as well as water from Norway, the country that served as source of inspiration for the cartoon. This ceremony was filmed and shared on Instagram. The video gives us a glimpse, albeit a quick one, of the attraction.

The Frozen Ever After attraction will invite visitors to board boats for a magical journey to the kingdom of Arendelle. They will discover sets inspired by the two cartoons, special effects, all with songs like the famous title Let It Go and incredible animatronics to relive the story of Anna and Elsa.

The opening is planned for 2026. After that, the Parisian amusement park will focus on the construction of the land dedicated to the Lion King with, for the first time at Disneyland Paris, a water attraction!
