InZOI: a new update available, what's new?

The inZOI development team continues to stabilize its life simulator with a new patch deployed on June 16, 2025. This minor fix, stamped version 20250616.4636.W, addresses several technical bugs reported by the community, particularly on certain recent PC configurations. Nothing revolutionary this time, but welcome adjustments that should improve the player experience. This comes after the major update a few days ago.

Issues fixed for inZOI

Among the notable fixes on inZOI, we find the resolution of a bug preventing some players, equipped with Intel 13th or 14th generation processors, from interacting with certain pop-up windows. An issue that particularly affected the user interface, making the gaming experience confusing, even blocking.

Another issue that is now addressed: the keyboard shortcut for opening the cheat console in inZOI was not working correctly in certain environments. However, the developers specify that in case of persistent malfunction, a trick can be tried: hold Ctrl + Shift, then press C. It is also important to check that the "Enable cheat codes" option is enabled via the guide provided by Psycat.

Infinite generation of NPCs

A rather unusual bug concerned the infinite generation of NPCs linked to the school environment. This issue, which sometimes occurred in the background, could unnecessarily increase the size of saves. The patch now prevents this behavior... but only in games recently launched via the "New game" option. Existing inZOI saves will therefore not benefit from this fix.

In addition, patch v0.2.1 also fixes an issue with intermittent crashes when changing terrain, particularly after the end of a schedule. Additionally, value changes in the Browse Mods tab are now applied correctly. Without requiring a reboot or additional manipulation. In short, a quick update that's still good.
