In addition to the additional content that regularly appears, this week a full-fledged mode has opened. It's barely started and you can already earn gifts to enhance your game. But hurry, there's not much time left.
LEGO Fortnite spoils you with Expeditions mode
"Expeditions" is the name of the brand-new game mode that launched on June 18th. It's a grand adventure, as LEGO knows how to design them so well, that opens up to Fortnite fans. You can play as a customizable superhero to fight against demonic forces. Of course, let's not forget the multiplayer part! This mode gives you the opportunity to complete missions cooperatively and strengthen your team's strengths.
Given the ambition behind this project, this is a major launch for LEGO Fortnite! Once again, Epic's game demonstrates its ability to reinvent itself. So, to celebrate this event, the studio has decided to spoil you. Thanks to a wave of Twitch drops, you can get free content for the game.
If you're not familiar with the principle, these "drops" work by viewing time. Head to the Twitch platform and watch partner live streams of LEGO Fortnite Expeditions with your account. Depending on the time spent, you can get the following gifts:
- Watch for 30 minutes: Xerick Dares LS wallpaper
- For 1 hour: Supernova Dorm Display item
- For 1 hour 30 minutes: Supernova Street Light
How to get your Twitch Drops rewards?
If you've never gotten rewards from drops, you'll see, it's very simple! Start by creating a free Twitch account and linking it to the Epic Games account you use on Fortnite from the dedicated page.
Once this step is completed, all you have to do is find a participating live stream on LEGO Fortnite Odyssey (home of Expeditions mode). Once you have enough watch time, your gifts will unlock on their own! Then claim them from your drops inventory.
