Nintendo Switch 2: Publisher issues official warning to players

After months of waiting since the first announcement, the Nintendo Switch 2 is finally available! Yesterday was the big day for the new hybrid machine. Its lucky owners were able to try it out for the first time. But the party may not have been a blast for everyone, with some games potentially experiencing issues. The manufacturer is therefore issuing a warning for one in particular.

Attention sur Nintendo Switch 2 pour ce jeu hyper-populaire

It's safe to say that players were quick to put the new console to the test. In addition to the new games that are exclusive to it, its backward compatibility allows you to run games that were released on the previous machine. However, the manufacturer had shared a list of titles that were incompatible with the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 or that were experiencing issues. It seems that one was forgotten!

Nintendo has just updated the list. More specifically, it lists "Nintendo Switch games for which issues have been resolved or are planned to be resolved via an update." Among the new names mentioned, we find the very popular Super Smash Bros Ultimate. And for good reason, disabling problems occur on Switch 2:

Overall progress may be affected in certain parts of the game.

Online, if a person using a Nintendo Switch 2 console faces off against a person using a Nintendo Switch console and one of them uses a Mii Fighter, the game may end immediately. Until this issue is resolved, we recommend avoiding using a Mii Fighter when playing online.

When saving a Mii Fighter after creating or editing it, issues may occur with the corresponding thumbnail. A new save may resolve the issue.

These issues will be fixed soon.

So, it's one competitor in particular that's causing trouble on Nintendo Switch 2. Apparently, Mii management is causing bugs, especially in cross-play with players on the previous console. Your game may cut out abruptly if the character is in combat. Nothing more frustrating in the middle of a fight! Fortunately, the publisher-manufacturer has identified this issue and is working to provide a corrective patch soon.
