Nintendo Switch 2: A secret feature was reportedly discovered in advance and it should please

The famous Nintendo Switch 2 is now just around the corner, with a release scheduled for June 5th, just a few days after the publication of this news. Obviously, everyone is holding their breath... and some are taking advantage of it to do some datamining and unearth... secrets!

A secret feature discovered for the Nintendo Switch 2?

It all starts with a new update for WWE 2K25 on PC. While searching through the game's files, a certain Sangral came across a section dedicated to the Nintendo Switch 2 version. This is news in itself, because it would mean, without getting too involved, that the sports game is indeed planned for Nintendo's new hybrid console.

But here, another discovery surprised everyone: an explicit mention of personalized music... stored on the Nintendo Switch 2. An unexpected piece of information. In other words? You could once again choose your own songs for wrestlers' entrances. This therefore opens the door to many other games. A feature that has been missing for years on consoles, but which was all the rage in the days of the Xbox 360 or PS3. And today, it seems ready to make its big comeback, on a Nintendo console no less.

A nice feature for the console

What is striking, beyond the surprise, is what this reveals about the Nintendo Switch 2 itself. If the game offers this kind of functionality, it means that the console could allow the playback of personal audio files, probably from a microSD Express card or a home app like the Nintendo Music App.

It seems like a small detail, but a potentially huge addition, the return of personalized music. A feature highly requested by players... and which clearly changes the game in terms of customization and user experience. In short, the Nintendo Switch 2 may not have revealed all its cards. It remains to be seen what the Japanese manufacturer will officially say about it, and whether the various development studios will also be able to use this feature in other games.
