While everyone is talking about Resident Evil 9 and Onimusha Way of the Sword is just around the corner, Capcom is giving us news about another very big upcoming game: Pragmata. Don't you remember? It's not really surprising since after announcing it with great fanfare as an extremely ambitious new IP, Capcom has remained extremely discreet, not to say downright invisible and silent, until today.
Pragmata finally breaks the silence and shows us off
Pragmata, what is it? It's a new action game that takes us into a dystopian science fiction universe set not far from the Moon and in which a man must apparently protect a little girl, a certain Diana. That's pretty much all we knew about the game so far, since before tonight, the last presentation of Pragmata was a year ago, when the game announced its delay to an undetermined date. Until now, it was total radio silence, and that was a while ago. It is therefore with undisguised pleasure that we rediscover it today, thanks to a brand new preview broadcast during the State of Play.
We finally got a little more in-depth gameplay. We will therefore not control one, but two characters in Pragmata, since our hero will indeed be accompanied by a little girl who will serve as a companion in her own right. The latter is apparently capable of hacking certain terminals and should therefore be of capital importance in the story, but also in the gameplay. Unfortunately, nothing more to get our teeth into. Capcom is once again remaining very secretive, but has promised us a new release date set for 2026 this time. Let's hope it's the right one this time.
