Developers at Maxis are currently putting the finishing touches to The Sims 4 Enchanted Nature DLC, which will be available on July 10, 2025, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. This new expansion will introduce a fantasy feel with the introduction of Fairies. Another successful life sim, Disney Dreamlight Valley, has already added a dose of magic with a Peter Pan update. Yes, nothing to do with the game from Maxis and EA, but just in case you played both titles...
The good weather is back in all circumstances in The Sims 4
After the May 2025 update, The Sims 4 received the June 17, 2025 patch, which was deployed on consoles and PC. It allows, among other things, Xbox and PlayStation players to benefit from the new features and improvements of the previous update. "We will soon share a new List of Issues Being Resolved which will include issues reported by the community that we are investigating in order to resolve them in an upcoming update" stated Electronic Arts in its patch notes release. Well, a new update is already coming and it will fix a long-standing problem.
For months, rain has been seeping into the interiors of Sims 4 players. And the same goes for snow. "Thank you for your patience while we investigated the indoor rain issue. We are happy to announce that we have found a solution that will resolve this issue in the next update. We will confirm this in the next Issue List." While the message isn't more explicit, a date was given on the official Discord.
The Sims 4 interior rain bug will hopefully be a thing of the past with the next update available on July 1, 2025. Even if it was only visual, it will finally be fixed soon. And while snow isn't mentioned, the fix should also help prevent this from happening.
