As usual, Steam regularly offers to add various free games to its users' libraries. Midweek, this was notably the case with What The Pak, a sort of competitor to Fall Guys. To ensure a constant flow of such offers, however, Valve's platform must, like its competitors such as the Epic Games Store, rotate its offerings. Thus, the popular free game we're interested in will soon become paid. So you still have a little time to take advantage of the offer.
Hurry up and grab this popular free game on Steam, if you dare
Steam generally makes sure to vary the pleasures when it comes to the games it offers for free for a limited time. The one that interests us should, for example, speak a lot to fans of dark fantasy and RPGs, or more precisely dungeon crawlers. And it should particularly appeal to fans of games like Darkest Dungeon, which presents itself as one of its greatest inspirations. The free game currently still running on Steam has in any case found its audience, despite its very evocative name: Hellslave, developed by Ars Goetia, published by Dear Villagers and released in 2022.
It is therefore a dungeon crawler with a universe that aims to be merciless, all carried by a very solid artistic direction illustrated and animated by hand. We play a hero who has the difficult task of saving the world from overwhelming infernal hordes. To do this, he has no other choice, as the name of the game suggests, to become the slave of one of these monsters in order to be able to stand up to them. A rather intriguing proposition, which has in any case received an average rating of "Very Positive" from Steam users.
While Hellslave will soon receive a sequel, Valve's platform has taken the opportunity to offer the first opus for free. It is thus available for free until June 16 at 7 p.m.. You therefore still have a few hours to add it to your library, if you feel like it. Once the deadline has passed, it will become chargeable again, at a price of 19.99 euros.
