Summer Game Fest 2025: Two major conference announcements have reportedly been leaked

In just a few hours from now, Geoff Keighley will officially kick off his Summer Game Fest. Born a few years ago from a desire to offer an alternative to our beloved and missed E3, the event has gradually established itself as a must-attend event for publishers wishing to present some of their upcoming releases. And while this year's program, aside from a few games, remains largely mysterious, it nevertheless appears that some nice surprises are in store.

Leaked announcements for Summer Game Fest

Indeed, as a certain Lunatic Ignus revealed on X, it seems that several leaks have already taken place ahead of the event. One of them, in particular, would then be attributed to Microsoft, which would have revealed a little too early a piece of news that will certainly delight many: the release of Lies of P: Overture would be imminent. In any case, this is what we can deduce from an ad seen on the Xbox side, where a visual of the game accompanied by the mention "Available now" was immortalized by a user.

As it stands, everything suggests that the prequel DLC of Lies of P could be entitled to a shadowdrop this evening during the Summer Game Fest, like a certain The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered earlier this year. But that's not all. The internet user in question also revealed the visual of a Collector's Edition for Crimson Desert, apparently sold for $300. The latter would then be scheduled for December 2, 2025, shortly after the game's release, which could occur as early as the end of November.

The first surprises in a long series?

This promises to be extremely exciting for tonight's Summer Game Fest, which is obviously still far from having revealed all its secrets. Let's just hope that all the content of the conference won't be leaked in the next few hours, so that we can still get some nice surprises for the occasion. In the meantime, given the success of Lies of P and the anticipation surrounding the Crimson Desert project, there is no doubt that these revelations will whet the appetite of many players.
