Summer is fast approaching. While some are getting ready to enjoy the beach and parties, others are eagerly awaiting the season's new anime. Among them, a manga that has been much talked about lately will be getting its adaptation this summer, and it's already preparing for its arrival by unveiling the main visual of the series.
Summer will be hot for anime fans
This spring has been very exciting for anime fans. One Piece continued the Egghead arc - despite a somewhat frustrating announcement -, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes finally got its long-awaited adaptation, and Fire Force returned with its third season. So spring was hot, but it won't be as hot as summer.
This summer promises to be particularly busy. We'll have to count on Netflix, which will be offering season 2 of the hit anime Dandadan, as well as the second part of Sakamoto Days. For its part, Crunchyroll will not be left out, with season 2 of Kaiju no 8, an anime whose manga is about to end rather prematurely. The platform doesn't intend to stop there, as it will also broadcast the adaptation of Gachiakuta, an increasingly popular manga.
The Gachiakuta anime unveils its main visual
Gachiakuta is a manga by Kei Urana, published since 2022 in Weekly Shonen Magazine and acclaimed by French fans since 2023. The work, which follows Rudo's quest for revenge and is distinguished by a graphic style reminiscent of that of Atsushi Okubo - for whom the mangaka was the assistant on Fire Force -, will be entitled to an anime adaptation this summer by Bones. To keep fans waiting, the studio has shared the main visual for the series.
This is a highly anticipated event, both for the manga and for the studio. Bones is behind several cult works in its catalog, such as My Hero Academia, Soul Eater, and Fullmetal Alchemist (whether it's the first adaptation or Brotherhood). Confidence is therefore high, but we'll have to wait until July 6 to find out for sure. French fans will also have the chance to discover the anime in preview at Japan Expo.
