Xbox: All these games are confirmed for 2026

This year's Xbox Showcase did even better than previous editions. In addition to a big announcement regarding the ROG Xbox Ally portable console, Microsoft put all the odds in its favor by presenting dozens of games, a large portion of which are expected in 2025. The other half, however, has a release window for 2026, and it is this category that interests us in this article.

Next year, many games are already expected, across all platforms. This is particularly the case with GTA 6, which is scaring the entire industry. It is therefore not surprising to see that almost all the games announced for the same year do not have a specific date to get their teeth into. However, here's what you can expect on Xbox (and other consoles in some cases).

  • Resonance – A Plague Tale Legacy

  • The Blood of Dawnwalker

  • Super Meat Boy 3D

  • Beast of Reincarnation

  • Aphelion

  • There Are No Ghosts At The Grand

  • Mudang – Two Hearts

  • Planet of Lana 2 – Children of the Leaf

  • Aniimo

  • At Fate’s End

  • Invicible VS

  • Persona 4 Revival (remake)

One of the most mysterious announcements is the spin-off of A Plague Tale named Resonance. The trailer is only a few seconds long and doesn't show anything substantial except for the ever-so-magnificent environments. The title is developed by Asobo, the French studio behind the main franchise. We learn on the game's website that the story takes place 15 years before Hugo and Amicia's adventures, in a plot that mixes the Middle Ages and Greek mythology.

Aphelion is also one of our favorites. It's a third-person exploration game. You play as a young female astronaut searching for her lost partner. She ends up stranded on a frozen, desert planet where she must survive. In the genre, it reminds us of the game Subnautica: Below Zero, minus the difficulty.

Although 2026 promises to be busy, so too is 2025, which isn't over yet. The year still has quite a few gems to offer us, and Xbox showed off a good handful of them during its conference. Here's a rundown of the games that will be available on Xbox in the next six months.
