Behind their minimalist look, the new MoGo 4s hide a clear ambition: to reinvent the mobile projector. Much more than simple projection devices, they are intended to be life companions, ready to transform a blank wall, a camping canvas, or an urban terrace into a real dark room. With their small size, integrated battery and award-winning design (iF DESIGN AWARD 2025), these models already tick a lot of boxes on paper.
MoGo 4: compactness and performance
The MoGo 4 offers a Full HD 1080p image up to 120 inches, with a brightness of 450 ISO Lumens. Two 6W Harman/Kardon speakers provide 360° sound reproduction, while automatic keystone correction and 360° rotation make it easy to install on any surface. A mini remote control and a detachable loop cord complete a device designed for simple, quick, yet customizable use.
But the little extra that makes all the difference is the attention paid to ambiance. Indeed, the MoGo 4 offers a system of magnetic filters, including an included Sunset filter, to adapt the color temperature and create a warm atmosphere. Other filters, such as Ripple, Dreamscape or Lunar, allow you to vary the lighting effects. The projector also transforms into a standalone Bluetooth speaker, capable of playing music accompanied by dynamic light shows. In terms of battery life, it promises up to 2.5 hours of video, 6 hours of music, or 5 hours with the PowerBase support, an optional magnetic base that integrates a battery.
MoGo 4 Laser: XGIMI moves up a gear
The MoGo 4 Laser is the first portable video projector to feature triple laser technology, capable of delivering an image of formidable precision. On the program: 550 ISO Lumens, native contrast 1000:1, and above all a colorimetric coverage of 110% of the BT.2020 spectrum. The result: more vivid colors, accentuated image depth and a visual rendering that flirts with home cinema standards.
Added to these performances is an even more refined design, with a transparent backlit base, markings around the lens and a brushed aluminum side rail. There are also magnetic creative filters, a miniaturized remote control and a PowerBase support to boost battery life up to 5 hours of projection.
These two MoGo 4s also integrate Google TV, licensed Netflix, as well as Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI ARC and USB for maximum compatibility.
To extend the experience outdoors, XGIMI offers a 70-inch foldable screen, which unfolds in less than a minute. Enough to organize a movie session under the stars, without sacrificing image quality.
