Razer has officially announced the release of three new models in its Kishi controller line, designed to deliver a console-like mobile gaming experience. Following the V1 and V2, here are the Kishi V3, Kishi V3 Pro, and Kishi V3 Pro XL models. Each model targets different uses, from smartphones to tablets to PCs, with variations in size, features, and price.
A Complete Lineup
To start, the standard version Kishi V3 offers a more affordable alternative, with a similar design that serves as the basis for the other two models. It features TMR analog joysticks, sleek ergonomics, and cross-platform compatibility. Like the other models, it allows you to play remotely thanks to the Remote Play function via the Razer Nexus application.
The Kishi V3 Pro model is the high-end evolution of Razer's mobile controller. It takes the form factor of a traditional controller and adapts to a wide range of devices via a USB-C connection. It also integrates TMR-type analog joysticks, two rear buttons with mouse-click feedback, triggers, and haptic feedback called Razer Sensa HD. This technology aims to enhance immersion through more precise vibrations, although this functionality is currently limited to Android 12 and higher as well as Windows 11.
The Kishi V3 Pro XL has all the features of the Pro version, but in a form factor adapted to tablets up to 13 inches, such as the iPad Air and iPad Pro. It's positioned as a solution for gamers who use larger screens. All three controllers feature an expandable structure, designed to fit devices with or without a case.
On the software side, they're compatible with native mobile games, cloud gaming, and remote streaming services. In addition to the launch, Razer is partnering with Apple to offer up to six months of Apple Arcade membership. The Kishi V3 and Kishi V3 Pro models include a three-month trial for new and eligible existing subscribers, while the Pro XL version offers a six-month trial.
Pricing and Availability
The controllers are available for purchase now at various prices. The Kishi V3 is available for €109.99, while the Kishi V3 Pro is priced at €169.99 and its XL version at €229.99. They are available on the Razer website or on partner sites like Amazon.fr.
