A few hours ago, Microsoft and Sony jointly announced the official arrival of Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5 in the coming weeks. The game is already available on the PlayStation Store, and you can add it to your “wishlist” while waiting for further details and its official release date, set for next spring.
But, no time to breathe. Barely has the game been confirmed on PS5, that new rumors inform us that the game should also arrive on the next Switch2. A rumor all the more interesting and credible, since the source of the latter is none other than the insiderXtas1s, the same one who had just announced the arrival of Forza Horizon5 on PS5 in November 2024.
Forza Horizon 5 soon on PS5 and Switch 2?
Just a few hours after the official announcement of Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, Insider eXtas1s confirms the game's arrival on the Switch 2 as well. It was through a subtle tweet that the insider announced that the game's next release would be Nintendo's next console.
For the moment, no more details and we don't know if Forza Horizon 5 will be available Day One on Switch 2, during the year or in the coming years. But, this confirms, again, the desire Microsoft to end exclusives and release its games on all platforms, as Phil Spencer suggested a few days ago.
Concerning Forza Horizon 5 on PS5, the title is expected for the spring, will be cross-play, allowing PC, Xbox and PlayStation players to play together and will offer all the content of the PC/Xbox versions. That is, more than 900 cars! For the moment, no price and no precise release date have been announced.
