The sports streaming service DAZN, which broadcasts Ligue 1 football, among other things, is trying to increase its subscriber numbers by any means necessary. This time, it's looking towards of a fast-food chain.
It's one of the biggest fiascos of 2024 for 60 Million Consumers. The English streaming service DAZN, which holds the rights to Ligue 1 football, among others, has never managed to take off since its launch in France in 2020. With around 500,000 subscribers according to the latest estimates, it is even responsible for an explosion in piracy and the use of illegal IPTV. Faced with this disaster, the platform is multiplying temporary or permanent price cuts, but nothing is working.

DAZN is now seeking to cast its net as wide as possible. A partnership with the fast-food chain McDonald's is its latest find to try to get back on track. Starting March 17, 2025, you can claim an Pass Fin de Saison, or 3 months of free subscriptions, with any purchase of a Golden Ligue 1 or Duo Golden Ligue 1 menu from the McDo+ mobile app. There are, of course, conditions to respect and not everyone will be able to claim it.

Read the fine print for the details. “A unique access code for a free 3-month subscription will be sent to you by email within 24 hours of purchasing a McDonald's Golden Ligue 1 Menu or a McDonald's Golden Ligue 1 Duo from Monday to Thursday on the McDo+ app“.
Important information: the offer is “limited to the first 120,000 orders” and only applies to “new adult subscribers“. No free months for those who have already subscribed.
If you are interested, don't delay. In addition to the limited number of codes, “registration must be completed on the website https://www.dazn.com/en-FR/redeem/ or the DAZN App by 30/04/2025 at the latest“. After that, you can eat at the fast food restaurant several times, but that won't allow you to watch Ligue 1 for free.
