Disney+ finally adds this long -awaited option, you will be able to clean up your account

We all started a series or a film on a streaming service before realizing that we didn't like it. The title then remains in the category of content that we can resume playing, and depending on the case, the latter can quickly become cluttered. On Netflix, we had to wait until 2022 before being able to delete an entry from the section in question. It has since become much clearer since we can only keep the paused programs that we actually intend to finish one day.

Three years after its competitor, Disney+ is getting up to date by offering the same thing to its subscribers. It is finally possible to clean up the Resume Reading list on your account and no longer see what you really don't want to continue. Here's how it works depending on the device.

This option has been missing from Disney+ for a long time, but it's finally here.

Using the option is very simple. If you're on the Disney+ app on a connected TV, go to the Resume playback line, select a content item, and long-press the confirmation button on your remote. A column appears with the option to Delete the movie or series. You can also directly open the associated Details page and select the Delete icon on the right.

On the platform's web interface or mobile app, you must go through the Resume Reading section. Click on the content (web) or tap the 3 vertical dots that accompany it (mobile) and select Delete before confirming. Don't be surprised if you don't see this feature on your device yet. Disney+ will first roll it out on its website, Apple TV, and iOS. Other devices will receive the update in the coming weeks, with no further details available.
