Do you know bruxism? About 15% of the French population is affected

Bruxism is a health problem that affects approximately 15% of the French population, or 10 to 15 million people.

Bruxism, characterized by the involuntary clenching or grinding of teeth, mainly during sleep, can have serious consequences for oral health and general well-being. Until now, existing treatments were mainly palliative and often presented drawbacks or limited effectiveness.

The solution proposed by Bruxless is based on cutting-edge technology: functional proprioceptive stimulation (FPS). This device, worn like a chin rest, is equipped with sensors capable of detecting contractions of the masseter muscles during episodes of bruxism. In response, it emits targeted mechanical vibrations that "trick" the brain, causing the jaw muscles to relax.

Guillaume Collinot, President of Bruxless, explains: "We have chosen to market Bruxless as quickly as possible: given the distress affecting millions of people around the world, why wait in the face of a pathology without treatment, when the technology is there?“.

The Bruxless device offers two modes of use: a preventive mode, consisting of a relaxing massage before bedtime or during the day, and a reactive mode for immediate nighttime treatment of attacks. A mobile application allows users to monitor the progress of their condition.

Available for pre-order at a price of 350€, the first deliveries are scheduled for June 2025. Although marketed Initially launched as a wellness product, Bruxless is currently in the process of obtaining CE Medical and FDA certifications.

This promising innovation could bring long-awaited relief to the millions of people suffering from bruxism worldwide, thus opening a new era in the treatment of this condition that has been difficult to control until now.
