Final Fantasy has sold 200 million games worldwide. The franchise's reputation is well established, and its aura is such that the many collector's items surrounding it are selling like hotcakes. Fans already have plenty to sink their teeth into between official figurines, books, and other collectibles, but here's another new release that's likely to make their wallets cry, but which already promises to be... as an essential.
Magic's Final Fantasy cards back in stock
It’s been the fashion for several years. Fortnite, Call of Duty, Monster Hunter... all regularly offer collaborations with brands, games or artists that we would have hardly seen coming. Magic The Gathering has also got involved and at a frantic pace. Fallout, Spider-Man, SpongeBob SquarePants, Tomb Raider, we have lost count of the crossovers with major licenses. We will soon have to count on Final Fantasy, and it is already shaping up to be a huge hit. The card game has the luxury of having exclusive illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano and Tetsuya Nomura, two legendary figures of the license.
More than beauty illustrations, the Magic cards of Final Fantasy will bring some specific gameplay features. On one hand, the double-faced cards that will allow you to evolve certain creatures into more powerful versions, on the other the "Saga Creatures", a mixture of cards and creatures, which allow you to trigger devastating attacks by earning lore points. The Final Fantasy decks and cards will be released on June 13, 2025 and they are already available for pre-order and especially back in stock. We recommend that you don't wait too long, because as with those dedicated to Fallout, stocks are likely to go quickly. Here are the offers still available:
