Attention fans of the Galaxy Far, Far Away, Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith will be back in theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary for a week starting April 25. For the moment, this information only concerns the United States. However, the official Star Wars website confirms that other countries will be entitled to this event and that details and dates will be communicated later.
The event and what makes it different is that the screenings will be available in several formats, including, for the first time, the 4DX format, in order to live the ultimate Star Wars experience. As a reminder, the 4DX experience includes high-tech motion chairs that synchronize with more than 21 effects, all designed to complement the film's story.
To accompany the event, we have the right to a new poster that is quite sublime with a multitude of details. This last one was directed by Matt Ferguson. We inevitably discover the menacing mask of Darth Vader enveloping Anakin Skywalker (still played by Hayden Christensen in this opus). The scene takes place during his march to execute Order 66. In the middle of the poster, we see the famous and moving lightsaber duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin at the end of the film. In the background, the city of Coruscant with warships above the burning Jedi Temple.
