Samsung confirms the arrival of a feature aimed at improving the quality of sleep and specifies the smartphones that will benefit from it. Let's be clear: not everyone will be entitled to it.
We will soon lose an hour of sleep. On March 30, 2025, all clocks will have to be set forward one hour, which means that if your alarm goes off at 7am, it will be “in reality” 6am when you have to get up. The practice almost disappeared, to the great relief of its many detractors, but the Covid-19 pandemic relegated its removal to the back of the drawers of European authorities. Since then, it is no longer the priority.
We must therefore accept it and succeed in minimizing the impact on our sleep and, by extension, our health. Taking advantage of the arrival of International Sleep Day on March 14, Samsung reminds us how important it is to succeed in create an environment conducive to quality sleep. A good mattress and silence aren't everything. To help you, the South Korean firm specifies when it will deploy its Sleep Environment Report in the Samsung Health application.
Here are the Samsung smartphones that can help you improve the quality of your sleep
We first learn that the option is coming quickly: “During the month [March 2025], the update of the Samsung Health application will make this possible [sleep better, editor's note] by providing advice and analysis on the key factors that influence the quality sleep, including temperature, humidity, CO2 and lighting, through a Sleep Environment Report“, says Samsung.

This is followed by a short number referring to a very important footnote: “The Sleep Environment Report feature will be available on smartphones equipped with One UI 7 and the Samsung Health app version 6.29.5 or higher, and when the device is connected to SmartThings“.
When it is released later this month, only the Galaxy S25 will be able to try out this new feature. Other models compatible with the update will have to wait for its arrival in stable version, knowing that the deployment of One UI 7 will begin in April 2025.
